Self-Catering Accommodation
Self-catering accommodation is a popular form
of accommodation supplied in South Africa. Many
visitors prefer self-catering accommodation over
accommodatioon where meals are catered for mainly
because with this accommodation a visitor has
too eat what he is given, generally served at
a specific time as well. The difference with self-catering
accommodation is that the guest gets to decide
what he wants to eat. All self-catering accommodation
is provided with a small kitchen facility in which
meals can be prepared.
The facilities provided with self-catering accommodation
include essentials which the visitor would need
to prepare and cater meals for himself. Accommodation
which is self-catering offers a comfortable and
luxurious setting in which the guests are able
to relax after a conference or a long day's sightseeing.
Self-catering accommodation is ideal for more
than one person, such as a family, when eating
out every night becomes slightly expensive.
Much of the accommodation which is available in South Africa is self-catering accommodation or bed and breakfast accommodation. Self-Catering accommodation turns out to be cheaper than accommodation in Pretoria which supplies three meals a day as it is provided at a high cost. Many of the guest houses situated in Pretoria offer self-catering accommodation to guests. Self-catering accommodation refers to accommodation which does not provide meals to its guests and the guests therefore are required to cater for themselves in regards to meals because self-catering means no food is included in the fee which the guest is paying for staying in the designated accommodation. |
